AMG Founder, Paul Mengert, Teaches Client and Community Service

November 16, 2018

It’s easy to see why Paul Mengert is an education advocate when you look at his own education. Paul Mengert majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina (in Greensboro, of course). Then, in 1990, Paul Mengert earned a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) certification. If that isn’t enough, he also graduated Harvard Business School in 2005. He has also served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute.

There are at least two key things Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) CEO, believes in strongly, and the main one is that giving back to a community is one of the most important things anyone can do. That is why he established AMG in 1984 in the city of Greensboro, North Carolina, where he was born and raised and where he received most of his education. From the point of view of Paul Mengert, AMG is only part of his life. He also serves as President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. Even from that position, he teaches classes to homeowner's associations that have been approved as continuing education credits by organizations nationwide.
